Satoshi Nakamoto is the pseudonym used by the unknown person or group of people who created Bitcoin and authored the original Bitcoin whitepaper. While the term Satoshi is also used to refer to the smallest unit of Bitcoin (1 satoshi equals 0.00000001 BTC), mining Bitcoin does not involve using Satoshi in any way.
